Haramain train to Makkah
The high-speed Haramain train links Madinah and Makkah in about two and a half hours.

Book your ticket
Book on the official Haramain train website (hhr.sa) or its app. In Ramadan and busy seasons, book well ahead.

Get to Madinah station
The station is a short taxi ride from the city centre. Arrive at least 30 minutes before departure with your ticket and ID; luggage space is limited.

Going for Umrah?
Put on your ihram before you board. The train passes the miqat soon after leaving Madinah, so make your intention before or as it passes.

Arriving in Makkah
Makkah station is outside the Haram area. Take a taxi or the shuttle bus to Masjid al-Haram.
